Position Type:

Full-time position (4-5 days per week). Weekend availability is required.

*Please note this role is seasonal (temporary) and will wrap up in July/August.

Compensation:

This role starts at $18 per hour.

About the Role:

Working most of the time in the outdoor tree lot, with some flex work in the greenhouse.

Provide quality and consistent care for trees & shrubs in the tree lot by watering, organizing, and pruning if needed.

Assist customers with plant or product inquiries, as well as shopping needs to ensure a positive and professional experience with the Anything Grows brand.

Perform customer carry-outs for trees, pots, and other heavy items.

Load up bagged soil & gravel orders in the soil drive-through.

Ensure garden center standards for cleanliness, organization and professionalism are met at all times by tidying, sweeping and restocking.

Maintain a positive work ethic and “team-player” attitude, valuing the opportunity to be invited back for future summers.

Skills and Requirements:

Physically able (some heavy lifting required)
Comfortable with the outdoors & “getting your hands dirty”
Experience ‘wearing multiple hats’ or working in a changing environment
Independent transportation to work
Must enjoy being part of a team and interacting with customers
No experience necessary, but a willingness to learn is!
Bonus Points for customer service or retail experience
